Who is JKAA?

The Japan Karate Association of Australia (JKAA) is the largest JKA karate organisation in Australia with over 600 members, practicing across 30 branches or ‘dojos’.
We currently have branches at various locations across Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
JKAA is a not for profit organisation incorporated in Victoria and registered with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) as a ‘Registered Australian Body’.
JKAA’s general administrative business is conducted by a committee elected under the rules approved by the Corporate Affairs Victoria. Matters relating to the instruction of karate are overseen by a Technical Committee under the direction of the JKAA Chief Instructor.
