Online Judges’ Training – August 2021

On Sunday, 15th August 2021, an online judges’ training session was held.

The training session was conducted by our JKAA Chief Instructor, Nishimura Takaatsu Shihan. Unlike any ‘normal’ training, this session was mainly theoretical as Nishimura Shihan covered various rules and regulations under the Japan Karate Association’s competition and tournament guidelines.

Overall, the session was very informative and provided members knowledge required to attain their accreditation as a JKA judge. It was also a great opportunity for current JKA-accredited judges and regular competitors to refresh their knowledge about the rules and protocols for JKA competitions.

It was fantastic to see and interact with JKA Australia instructors and members from different states.

We look forward to having similar events in the future.
